Week of September 14, 2009:

Our first home game is just around the corner!  Players and cheerleaders should report to field at the following times:

o   Mods:  10:30

o   Juniors:  11:15

o   Seniors:  12:45

Calling all parents, we want you! We’re looking for parent volunteers to help sell 50/50 tickets and merchandise at the Spirit Wear table during home football games.  Stop by the Spirit Wear table on Sunday and sign up for a time and game that works best for you.

Attention Lion players!  On Friday, September 18th Whitmer’s football program has invited all Bedford Lions players to attend their home game at no cost and tour the facility.  Players interested in attending should arrive at the Whitmer front gate at 5:45.  Parents are responsible for their children after kick-off.

 Last call for those wishing to join us on the annual Bedford Lions bus trip to Greektown Casino!  Only 7 seats left.  The cost is $30 per person.  Unfortunately, Greektown no longer gives out vouchers so we have reduced the price of the trip from last year.  Reservations and money should be turned in to Kelly Lake as soon as possible.  If you have any questions feel free to give her a call at 854-3275.
